When reporters don’t challenge obvious bad faith, they don’t just miss a moment. They enable it.
The fact that not a single reporter tells Mike Johnson “let me read it for you” or “here it is” when he claims he hasn’t seen or doesn’t know a thing about the psychotic ramblings of the head of state is not only a dereliction of journalistic duty, but a display of pure cowardice.

Speaking ill of the dead is controversial, particularly when it was a violent death. It’s edgy; it’s sensitive; best avoided in most cases, etc.

Baselessly making another person’s murder *about yourself,* and then approving of it, is a different thing. That is delusional, narcissistic, sociopathic.

Too many Minnesotans have lost money to subscriptions they thought they canceled or didn’t realize they signed up for in the first place, and that’s unacceptable. I’m suing Uber to stop these predatory business practices and force them to do right by the people of Minnesota.

The Trump administration has banned Head Start providers from using 200 phrases when describing their programs and applying for grants, such as: women, disabilities, Black, belong, and tribal.

Head Start is essential and must be able to serve our communities freely. We're suing the administration.
Head Start centers told to avoid 'disability,' 'women' and more in funding requests
New court documents reveal a list of nearly 200 words or phrases the Trump administration told Head Start programs it does not want to see in their funding requests.

Abbey Clements read and sang to her second-grade students in an effort to drown out the sound of gunfire as the lives of 20 first graders and six of her colleagues were stolen at Sandy Hook School in 2012.

“I still hold within me clear feelings and images of that horrific day,” shared Abbey.

“I found a place where I finally started to feel comfortable, and it’s been taken again.” - Mia Tretta, survivor of the Saugus High School shooting and Rhode Island @studentsdemand.bsky.social leader

No one should be forced to experience gun violence even once in their lifetime, let alone twice.
She was shot at 15 in a school shooting. Brown was another close call.
Mia Tretta was a freshman when a classmate opened fire at her California high school. Now the Brown University student worries how she’ll recover a second time.

Our hearts are with the loved ones of Ella Cook and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov and the entire Brown University community as they grapple with this unspeakable tragedy.
The two victims of the Brown University shooting deserved to come home from their final exams alive. Honor them by reading and sharing their stories. Give the shooter #NoNotoriety.

I’m already seeing a lot of defeatism about gun control, and while national gun laws won’t be passing anytime soon, a lot can be done at the state level.

Strong state gun laws save lives, even in small Northeastern states that are near states with bad gun laws.
