Today is the birthday of Jack Larson (Feb. 8, 1928-Sept. 20, 2015), most known for playing Jimmy Olsen in the Adventures of Superman tv series. By the early fifties, Jimmy had almost disappeared from the comics until Larson made the character popular enough to get his own comic series.
