In light of recent flooding across WA, Rep. Larsen, Rep. Schrier & I are calling on Homeland Security Sec. Noem to release $425,000 in already approved flood mitigation funding for Snohomish County immediately so first responders have the resources & info they need to keep our communities safe.

Christmas cookies are always a tradition in our family. My favorite are my dad’s sugar cookies—which everyone gets to help decorate.

This year, we helped refund over $2 million in tax dollars to constituents by helping them through issues with federal agencies like the IRS & VA.

If you need help with a federal agency, we’re here for you. Visit delbene.house.gov to get in touch & see how we can assist.

I’m excited to release my 2025 annual report! It’s been a tough year for our communities, but I’ve never stopped fighting for you.

Together with Senator Whitehouse, I introduced legislation to help level the playing field for American manufacturers.

The Clean Competition Act would hold dirtier foreign exporters accountable, a win for American jobs while also protecting our planet.

Republicans have done nothing to improve your lives or lower costs, so they’re trying to distract you by attacking the transgender community.

I voted no on two bills that would let politicians – not doctors & families – decide medical care & make more cuts to Medicaid.

I voted today to stop Trump’s unauthorized strikes in the Caribbean & prevent ongoing military action in Venezuela.

If the president believes military action is necessary, he needs to make his case to Congress & the American people.

Republicans’ health care bill means families will pay more while getting less.

Gerry from Kirkland is fighting cancer & relies on ACA coverage. Without tax credits, his premiums will jump 67% next year—to nearly $4,500 a month.

I’m going to keep fighting for affordable, reliable health care.

It has been an honor to serve alongside Dan Newhouse, both in Congress and our state capital.

Dan has always brought a principled commitment to public service. I’m grateful to call him a colleague and friend all these years.

I wish him all the best in what comes next.

Urgent update.

Our bipartisan petition to force a vote on a straightforward extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits now has 218 signatures.

Mike Johnson should bring the bill to the floor immediately.

Congrats to the UW men’s soccer team on winning the NCAA College Cup National Championship! The first national title in program history after an amazing tournament run on the road. Go Dawgs!

House Republicans’ health care plan means you pay more while getting less. Families deserve affordable care & real value—not higher costs that put care out of reach.

Heartbroken by the loss in Snohomish. Thank you to our first responders who acted quickly in dangerous conditions to help people in need.

Floodwaters change quickly. Reminder to pay attention to road closures. You can also sign up for emergency alerts here: mil.wa.gov/alerts#local

Not all veterans receive VA health care. Many get coverage through the Affordable Care. With tax credits that keep coverage affordable expiring in days because of Republican inaction, as many as 267,000 veterans who served our country will lose coverage.

The House held a moment of silence today after the horrific shooting at Brown this weekend. We hold the students who were killed & injured, their families, & the Providence community in our hearts. Thankful for first responders & law enforcement as the search continues for the shooter.

My prayers are with the Jewish community worldwide as we mourn the victims of the antisemitic terror attack in Australia. As families mark the start of Hanukkah, no one should have to fear violence for their faith. We must call out antisemitism & stop hate.

What is Trump's answer to the affordability crisis? Ration.

Today I visited parts of Snohomish County impacted by recent flooding with Snohomish Reg. Fire & was briefed by FEMA to see how the atmospheric river has devastated communities across WA. Grateful for our first responders. I’ll keep pushing to get families the federal support they need to recover.

Trump’s tariffs are causing chaos & constant uncertainty, meaning fewer tourists from Canada supporting WA businesses. The president promised a strong economy, but he’s directly hurting our state.

UPDATE: After the entire delegation called on President Trump to approve an expedited Emergency Declaration for the historic flooding the state is facing, FEMA granted WA’s request.
Communities across WA state are being battered by devastating storms & flooding.

I led our entire Congressional delegation—Democrats and Republicans—in requesting that President Trump approve an expedited Emergency Declaration for this disaster.

Time is of the essence.

Republicans are letting ACA tax credits expire, forcing massive health care price hikes on WA families. This includes Mitch & his wife from Bothell, whose monthly premiums are set to rise from $520 to nearly $2,200 in January.

Senate Republicans voted to allow a massive increase in health care bills starting in January. One clear solution to help address the Republican health care crisis is to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits so millions of families don’t lose their health care next year.
Senate rejects dueling health care bills as Obamacare deadline looms
The result virtually guarantees insurance subsidies used by more than 20 million Americans will lapse at the end of the year.
