I went to meet the 'Rockstar 31', the developers who were suddenly fired from their work on GTA 6 for what the studio has described as gross misconduct.

As we learn more and more about the costs associated with GenAI, I continue to wonder how institutions and their leadership decide that yes, incorporating anything OpenAI produces into the lives of educators and students is worth the harms.

our power both as individuals in our own lives, and collectively in society as a whole seems limited by the degree to which we've all been socially atomized and isolated from one another. maybe this is part of why the revocation moves so slow & why it's so hard also for many to get anywhere in life.

Today, it's hard to see them as they were meant to be seen. The versions on streaming and home media aren't quite the same films that ruled the '90s:
