my grandmother just died, we spent more money than we have trying to take care of her too and for a number of years the only way my family has survived is pooling our resources.

please help.

if you can donate it would be much appreciated, if not if you can share this maybe someone else might.

weird seeing people talk about how crazy everything seems all of a sudden or how a lot of things coming out make them feel crazy when much of it was kind of a given/already suspected or known by anyone paying much attention.

it may seem frivolous or performative but i've actually noticed and received feedback from random people that tells me that my art actually does influence the larger world and affect some degree of change. anyone who can craft the image has power that has been more widely dismissed there.

It's a very disturbing and abusive relaitonship.

But otherwise I appreciate the humor in these. 😅

the horrors persist, but so do some weird as fuck heroes and you're more than welcome to be one however you can. as the old world dies and the new one struggles to be born this is the time of monsters, and any academic study of horror as a genre shows some monsters can go in ether direction.

By the way, even if you're told "it won't save your data", you should tell your doctor "No, I do not consent to you using that". Because AI has a tendency to get things wrong. Or turn specific wording generic. The latter thing has its own dangers.
And in term of less academic consequences...My doctor's appointment yesterday ran longer than expected. In part, because I needed various tests, but also? My doctor got so used to an AI transcribing/note taking tool, that when I said "No, I do not consent to that", she was taking way longer to type.

Over 1,000 Ubisoft workers around the world have walked off the job.

In response to a return-to-office mandate, layoffs, and the cancellation of several games, workers launched a three-day strike.

The workers walked out in response to five French unions issuing the strike call.

The strike comes after the publisher revealed plans to cut up to 200 jobs and ordered remote workers back into the office

the same people saying we need age verification & online IDs, even in operating systems to "protect kids" are literally not just raping them but eating kids as well.
the next person i see saying we need this shit to "protect the kids" i'm just going to assume is a child rapist and/or cannibal.

North Korea is openly stating that Trump/the USA is going too far.
though to be fair i think a lot of the bad things we hear about North Korea are probably propaganda.

tried using block printing to make patches but they came out patchy and i'd consider it a total failure. looking into photo emulsion screen printing. thought the equipment was more expensive but if it can work with UV LEDs i already have much of it on hand.

not sure if it will have any kind of impact on anything but i started printing out copies of the US Bill of Rights and leaving them around in public places. at the very least i figure people should know what the damn thing says even if no power that be seems to adhere to it.
