Not coincidentally this is a pretty good list of Most Important Companies to Unionize.
The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

It is amazing how awful the GOP is. And, acclimating the public to cruelty is central to their plan. The permission structure for authoritarian cruelty widens as they familiarize their followers and the general public to this kind of awfulness. Drip, drip, drip.

"The best explanation for 2025 is that voters didn’t know what they were getting with Trump 2.0 last November," says Brad Delong, "but now they do." The willingness to lie repeatedly, and have those lies broadcast by the liars on Fox News, gives the GOP an awesome tactical advantage.
