only issue i've had with lmde over mint flagship is the inability to add ppas, but that's an edhge case not many users will run into
Best linux distro in my opinion if you need stability, security and elegance, I will always recommend the Linux mint debian edition over the ubuntu edition.

After moving to Linux Mint and having very few issues, except ones of me trying to do too much like an Arch user, I honestly am confused why people try to make the case that Linux is too hard for gamers. Most games, excluding a handful with anti-cheat, just work. I've been playing WoW without issue.
