My essay on learning anarchist lessons from CPP-NPA-NDF is out now. I situate the people's war and mamundok in the context of a uniquely Philippine tradition of remontar and then put it in dialogue with Black anarchism, insurrectionary anarchism, and communization.

Why is it that insurrectos in Indonesia felt like they had no choice but to self-pacify? Why was it that in Nepal, the insurrectos had to submit to the military's demand for a discord election? Answering these are key for what comes ahead.
The clearest questions that ought be asked from the insurrections in Indonesia and Nepal is not “why didn't they do that?” but rather, “how could they not?” What restricted the choices of insurrectos that prevents them from overcoming the limits to insurrection?

Trauma from the financial and carceral system, betrayal from watching the left become the left wing of Dutertismo, disillusionment with working in government (long march through institutions? Ha!), autism, and books. ngl.link/abolisyonista

Not sure if I'd learn anything particularly useful from r/ultraleft tbh.

Sure. It makes it easier to pronounce stuff. Words with different pronunciations have are spelled the same.

English should have diacritics too. It's hard for learners to figure out the difference between read and read and lead and lead.

As long as it isn't a hierarchical, patriarchal, misogynist, or domineering, I'm not really sure I should care? At any rate, it's better than Catholicism or Christianity.

What's with same-sex attraction and dressing flamboyantly? I came to terms with it and then started dressing dandyly but didn't make the link until a friend mentioned a guy he liked must be fruity because they dressed well???

Anarchist nihilism, as invented by a buncha bitter burnouts in the late 00s and early 10s, is so frustrating to me because you cannot, imo, read any account of the Conquest of the New World and see how much was crushed and destroyed and yet indigenous people endure. But "there's no hope".

I'm quite annoyed by Marxists, “our strategy is to unite the left to challenge power.” Bruh. That's a stepping-stone GOAL not a STRATEGY! And then when I ask them how, they quote a random Trotskyist! Kura ka ba o Marxista??? Or Maybe the Marxists ARE priests!

The Protestant Reformation was an intense period of class struggle. Martin Luther was like Mao Zedong, unleashing a true hydra of the subaltern and oppressed, and rushed to demobilize and crush what he had unleashed. Those churches that survived the chaos were the counterrevolutionaries.
say what you want about catholicism at least its a religion

my most conservative opinion is that protestantism was a mistake, a new age charismatic cult five centuries too soon
every line in this article is hilariously crazy! the last NINE popes were "globalist traitors?" Pius XI and XII??? It is so funny to watch lay Catholics become functional protestants when the Pope does something they don't like
