I wish I could say I believed no one would buy this, but I think that would be denying how powerful that grief, and the fear of losing those most dear to us can be, so much so it could drive people to create an awful fake person AI out of their mother and turn it into a nightmarish family heirloom.

Instead of addressing issues that make life more expensive, the brain dead insist that you deserve to be displaced from where you are, for the grave sin of having a lower income. Such a fucking lazy and dismissive idea, as if the problem won't spread to places that are currently affordable.
who creates the lively art and music scenes if the rent is too high? who makes cultural life? who serves you food or washes your dishes? who creates the fancy little restaurants that draw you to urban living? affordable housing is at the heart of what makes city life worthwhile.
