Indiana’s current federal delegation is absolutely *not* representative of the populace.
I’m not sure what grander trends to draw from this, but claiming Indiana GOP is not on board for anti-democratic measures is *way* too much credit.
Many state GOPs are signaling that they are not on board Trump's autocratic project -- a great piece of data for those of us worried about the survival of American democracy.

The Indiana State Senate rejected President Donald Trump’s call for a special session to redraw the state’s congressional map ahead of the 2026 midterms. The move preserves Indiana’s current map and represents yet another rebuke of Trump’s national gerrymander push.

Not even a question that #20 Tennessee’s best win is losing to UGA in OT.
Is #22 Mizzou’s best win against 5-6 Clanga or 4-6 Auburn?

Stringer Bell-ass company name.
ICE raided a workplace in my district today. Two unmarked vans stole away an unknown number of workers from Bro-Tex.

Rapid responders were in force. There was clash. Pepper spray.

All the folks I spoke to at the scene were shook but resolve was fierce.

No quarter for ICE in Saint Paul.

Would be sort of funny if, in an effort to salvage a House majority that's already lost, Trump threw the rake over to the senior chamber.
I will ask again-what does the senate do now. If senate republicans try to monkey with and or delay what the house just did they will get crucified

I'm sure this won't happen, but it'd be absolutely hilarious if the Texasmander was ruled out, but the Calimander was allowed.
In a stunning ruling, a federal district court judge blocked Texas from using newly redrawn congressional maps meant to boost the GOP

A federal district court judge ruled that the map Texas adopted in August is an illegal racial gerrymander.

Again, I wonder if this effort doesn't have the same political impact of California's Prop 187, on a national basis?
Noting in case it's not immediately obvious to anyone, that the point of this is theatrical. They want to project the message "You are not safe anywhere."
"Agencies within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including ICE, ERO, and CBP intend to implement a comprehensive plan to target Spanish-speaking churches across the country during the upcoming holiday season between Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, and Christmas, Dec. 25."

I understand that it could be problematic, but I'm surprised and disappointed an MILB team hasn't done a bang-up job with a Raccoon mascot (yes, I'm aware of the Trash Pandas and Hudson Valley, I just don't thing it's great work).

He certainly couldn’t be prosecuted for the release. This has been established.
Why does Trump need to support the House vote to release the Epstein files? Can't he just order their release himself?

I get this response, but Raskin’s message isn’t meant for MTG. It’s meant for suburban white evangelical voters who can be peeled off and, insofar as the extent of their political activity inside the tent is to vote against Republicans, I’m fine with it.
