1/Unwillingness to die in Vietnam was a real change in culture after WW2. But even Korea was unpopular. My WW2 combat officer Father didn't answer a call up for Korea. He had seen enough. We watched the news reports from Vietnam over dinner and I think he was glad I was too young for the draft.
