“…internal bleeding” = some grease from his last cheeseburger stained his shirt.

White women need to know their place.
“…weird kind of smugness” = acting as if they’re equal to men.
Fox News' Will Cain: “There's a weird kind of smugness... in the way that some of these liberal white women interact with authority”

Cracks are first.
tiny cracks in the cult aren’t nothing
👉👉 The religious right is starting to get sick of Trump's shit. Even Religion News Service just posted an article asking their readers: "After Renee Good, are you really going to keep pretending Trump and Vance are pro-life?"

Do MAGAs actually read the Bible?Do they know Jesus was convicted of sedition/treason,for claiming to be king of the Jews? It was seen as a challenge to Roman authority,to overthrow the govt. Crucifixion was for serious political crimes like treason, not religious ones.

This post is for the determined little blood clot trying to make its way to a vital organ inside the most vile and putrid creature who breathes: I know you tried for the heart and couldn't find one. Don't be discouraged. Your job is too important. Just move toward the pudding. That's the brain.

Yup.. Ted Talk every night.

I keep thinking about Renee Good, going about her day, making an brief attempt to protest injustice as she saw it. Then three bullets quickly extinguish her life - for no purpose or reason.

This is closer to the truth than most would like to believe.
He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.

How does a man like this get this way?

This is important to remember:
Power lies by insisting it is inevitable. It is not. Every crackdown admits fear. Every show of force confesses weakness. History does not belong to the loud or the armed. It belongs to the ones who refuse to disappear when told they are small.

Wise words.
Two things can and must be possible: I can be broken hearted, outraged, incensed at the horrors and cruelty of our society and I can also insist on looking for the tiny joys, the beauty, awe in the everyday. Because if there is nothing wonderful there would be no reason to battle the awful.

I feel less hopeless by the day. Sometimes the weight of a single event tips the scales of the national mood & inspires a pervasive visceral rebellion - kindling a stubborn fire among the people that once lighted, can’t be extinguished.

Indelible image of a murder.
Picture this image without the blood of an innocent woman. When I look at it, I see my sister's car when my nieces were young. The stuffed animals, the water bottle, the beads hanging from the dashboard, the random odds and ends of daily life. We all know this car, and it's heartbreaking.

This.
Democrats need to understand that they can just say “It’s insane to threaten Greenland” and “I don’t think ICE should murder Americans in the street” and you don’t need to pretend to link it to the affordability crisis.

Say bad things are bad.

Whenever MSM comes down from its aggression/bombing/smashing-things/black-ops induced high, maybe we can return to our everyday news coverage of this absurdly dangerous president.
January 6, 2026 at 7:50 PM
Fact.
If major media wanted to tell the public the most important news happening now, they’d do sweeping stories with this headline:
TRUMP IS BUILDING A DICTATORSHIP
The journalists know it’s true. They report on various aspects of it every day. They need to put it all together and sound the alarm. 1/2🧵

Saw this.. disgusting!
"journalism"
"access journalism"

bravo
Scarborough called Trump -- again -- and this is what we learned from it: "He was very excited and proud" and he said "this time, we're going to keep the oil."

He wasn’t good, but we had no business taking him. Second clause for the emphasis.
January 5, 2026 at 10:44 PM
Fact.
The wealthy are always so GD worried some poor people are gonna commit some small time fraud. Meanwhile, big corporations are committing HUGE afraid. Just look at defense contractors.

Why? Because we have all been taught to see the wealthy as virtuous and to see the poor as lazy and unworthy.

CBS current credo is the distilled nonsense.
• “We work for you.”
Should work for the ideal of objective truth & fact.
•”We report on the world as it is.”
Will you report on our mad president?
• “We respect you.” Patronizing bs. Respect facts, please.
• “We love America.” If you have to assert +

The media are intoxicated with the drama of night-time operations, bombs exploding, daring military exploits, military hardware, & secret undertakings. They can’t catch their collective breath long enough to note the illegality, the corrupt motivations, the potential for disastrous consequences.
January 4, 2026 at 11:36 PM
Well, we’re officially a rogue nation.

God help the country whose people are being held hostage by a mad leader whom the vast majority disdain, fearful elected legislators & weak, unimaginative opposition party ‘leadership’.
