SO GLAD Super Bowl viewers will see victims' message. context: Epstein's "sweetheart deal" is widely understood to have occurred in 2008, when ink dried on guilty plea and he got wrist-slapped

not necessarily so, particularly if we scrutinize events in 2006-2007.

with the subhead:

So, if I understand the theory here, not only did the United States Department of Justice plan Epstein’s murder in advance, but the paralegal who drafts and formats press releases was in on it, to make sure they were ready in advance to make a prompt press release.
Well, this is interesting!

The U.S. Attorney’s Office had a draft statement announcing Jeffrey Epstein’s “suicide” dated August 9, 2019.

He didn’t die until August 10.

Totally normal. Nothing to see here.
Epstein Files Reveal Prosecutors’ Announcement Dated Before His Death
The file dump includes multiple draft statements from federal prosecutors about the sex trafficker’s death, one of them dated the day before Epstein died.

3-Shirts Bannon has a face for radio, that much is true. but Steve's lil "War Room" web show wasn't just a right-wing ideologue's platform for nonsense. it was an Epstein-devised insurance policy.

Why is 'Jeffrey Epstein' redacted in the Epstein files?
The redaction of Jeffrey Epstein's own name in some of the Epstein files shows a DOJ desperate to keep some secrets from Trump's first term buried.

When I worked for Reason magazine during Trump's rise to power in 2016, I was explicitly forbidden by the editor in chief from writing about Trump's racism, or the violence and racism at his rallies.

It was a "sideshow," I was told.

here's a gut-wrenching email from Villafaña begging Acosta to meet with victims. "can I persuade you to attend?"

he did not attend. and Villafaña was apparently scolded by a supervisor for having the temerity to advocate for victims.

✅ clearly articulates what he (and Dems broadly) stands for, which media will of course ignore
Rep. Seth Moulton: My position on immigration: We need to prosecute ICE officers who broke the law, impeach Noem and abolish ICE. But more than that we need to incentivize legal immigration and give them a pathway to citizenship for those who are here legally.
