Writer. Not much else to say about it.
Sure, when someone calls your gang a bunch of brutal thugs, there's no more convincing counterargument than ganging up on them & beating them half to death...

Lemme get this straight... America & Canada have a pretty great relationship - then Trump turns America into a very abusive girlfriend, & drives Canada into China's arms - & now he's furious Canada's dating someone else instead of begging America to marry it instead...

Transphobia is a cancer of the heart and mind.

It is a useless fear, based on ignorance and cruelty.

Trans people are not responsible for a single one of the problems we face.

Do the world a favor and grow the fuck up.

She is his personal lawyer. What were you expecting?

He put his personal lawyers atop many agencies upon securing an agreement that they would continue to act as his personal lawyers, no matter their title.

How many years are we planning to wait for corporate media to pick up on this obvious ploy?

If Lawler thinks that ICE detaining 5 year old Liam Ramos was bad

Wait’ll he hears about them detaining a 2 year old

The Trump administration is terrorizing an entire generation of children
Mike Lawler: "The image of a 5-year-old being in any way detained is very bad"

I'm sorry, but it really has gotten to the point where if I see people arguing that we need to support Trump - doesn't much matter if it's a retweeted post or how "middle of the road" they're trying to be about it - they're gone from my feed. I don't need to be a vehicle for that. /1

TikTok is now under US ownership and their new ToS reads like a guide to giving fascists everything they need to put you on a list.

They’re collecting information about immigration status, citizenship, sexual orientation, whether you’re trans or non binary and physical or mental disabilities.

Ossoff: "POTUS called for this man [Mark Kelly] to be hanged. A combat veteran, naval aviator, astronaut, senator. He demanded his execution bc he stated a principle enshrined in uniform code of military justice. If we become numb to that we lose sight of how extraordinary our obligations are."

ICE & DHS - now instruments of state terrorism, whatever their original functions - are existential threats to the much-ballyhooed "American Way Of Life," & every American, ESPECIALLY every politician & jurist, needs to stop pretending they're anything else. It's well past time to shut them down.

Whether Europe was or wasn't useless in Afghanistan - & considering the ultimate outcome there's an argument America ended up pretty useless there (where - REMINDER! - it was Trump who released 5000 Taliban fighters back onto the country) - NOBODY was more useless than Trump was in Vietnam...

Uh... JD Vance seems to think our economy is the Titanic.

What iceberg aren't we paying attention to? Am I now to assume everything Trump spouts is what the band's playing to keep us distracted from the ship sinking? /1

"Framework" is a buzzword that simply means "nobody has agreed to anything, & nothing has been signed."

It's a word Trump uses so he can send out a press release that claims victory when no victory exists.

Anytime he announces the "framework" of a deal, that's all he means: Nothing.

JACK SMITH: “I have seen how the rule of law can erode. My fear is that we have seen the rule of law function in our country for so long many of us have come to take it for granted. The rule of law is not self-executing. It depends on our collective commitment to apply it.”
