We had to take some pictures to show off this find yesterday. This fossilised fin spine is beautiful and unusual with all of that golden pyrite! It's the second one like it we've seen this week, so if you're heading onto the beach keep your eyes open for more!

What worries me with ice is that the public has no way of knowing if they are really ice. They have unmarked vehicles, wear masks, show no warrants or legal paperwork, no identification, and appear very unprofessional and violent. Anyone could be impersonating ice to terrorize our communities.
