They were 2 of the very first dogs I ever saved. Britney and King Whacker were as good as dead.
To see them meet up this week in Scotland brought a little tear to my eye. Look at their little jackets for the cold!

Finally! They have found the fatballs. #longtailtit #birds I was feeding & watering the wildlife garden when I heard chirrrrup & there they were a family flying through hedge. Stopped for dusk dinner stayed longer than a fleeting moment, joyful flying teaspoons with little badger faces. 🩷🖤🤍

#Whooper swan one of several at Hogganfield Loch in Glasgow. Lots of whooping communication within small families. This loch is a wonderful urban delight. So many birds up close to enjoy. Loved the ‘cheek’ of this one as I took their photo. 🤍💛🖤

Christmas bauble #birds💚 chilly yet sunny day in my old garden. In between bathing, chucking leaves about (please leave some fallen leaves) for insects and foraging under feeders they just brought a smile and joy with their antics. #Birds #leaflitter #nature #wildlife

12 years ago I rescued a poorly grey heron lying in a Glasgow park. Carefully boxed (watch the beak - same advice for gulls) and took them to a wonderful wildlife rescue near Beith. #Hessilhead . 💚
