Just a little background, if you don’t know my work… ‘When Beasts Spoke’ is a collection of illustrated thoughts from the animal’s perspective. Contemplations on anything from mindfulness, self-love, or gratitude, to observations on the little things and the joys of nature. And I paint the animals ☺️

Another follow suggestion for 2026....
Charlotte has enchanted me with her story-telling and drawings since she was a small child. Back then it was mostly princesses meeting kindly wild beasts in the woods. Now those animals share their/Charlotte's pearls of wisdom in beautiful paintings

I was going to attempt a 30 day project, but realised I was getting stressed and putting pressure on myself when I do that too much.
So this is my be-kind-to-myself version 🤍 They will appear as and when I can paint them! Over a few months 30 little canvases will become 30 little flower paintings.

Before I stopped for a winter break I prepared 3 new canvases to come back to. They are waiting for me in my studio. Just need to decide which animals will be going on them. I have a few thoughts… any suggestions?

I LOVE my nails!!! (because I’m always painting, I can’t really have nice nails… got a week off, so thought I’d get them done all nice for Christmas! 🧡) They were very patient with me asking for particular colours on particular fingers so I could get all the colour combos!🎨💅
