We’ve united with nature charities across Scotland call on the First Minister to stop #BerwickBank. If progressed it could be the deadliest windfarm for birds on the planet.

Green energy is essential for the #climatecrisis, but not at this huge ecological cost↙️

Good news to end the week!💙⬇
Big win for Scotland’s nature! The Natural Environment Bill passed by MSPs will bring in legally binding targets to restore wildlife and habitats. Huge thanks to LINK’s members and supporters who helped make this happen! Let’s keep pushing for strong action and funding to restore Scotland’s nature.

It's nearly time for another episode of #TheTraitors 📺

To get you ready, we've had a think about which seabirds might make the most devious traitors, the most trustworthy faithfuls, or some of the unfairly treated players! #JusticeForHerringGull

A devastating blow for Scotland's declining #seabird populations.
UK government has awarded a contract for difference to #BerwickBank - an offshore wind development predicted to kill tens of thousands of seabirds over it's lifetime.

Our seabird of the month for January is the beautiful, elegant & grumpy-looking fulmar.

Feeling a little tired & after more daylight this month? You're carrying some real fulmar energy.

Just be sure not to spit out any foul-smelling substances... (yes, fulmars really can do this in self-defense)💙

Thank you to Bruce Meldrum for allowing us to share these incredible images of a humpback whale breaching in the Firth of Forth!

We were treated to some lovely wintery scenes in North Berwick this morning with a light dusting of snow covering the beach ❄️🏖️

It might be chilly but a coastal walk at this time of year can still be rewarding (plus you can warm up with a hot drink in our Café afterwards!)☕🍵

Heading out for a wintery coastal stroll this weekend?❄️

While it's always a delight to spot shorebirds, it's important to remember that every time they take flight they are using precious energy...
