We’re always careful not to disturb seals during our time on the island. Disturbance can have negative consequences, including injury or separation of mothers from pups. If you see a seal, please remember to keep your distance and keep dogs under close control.

The data collected from this survey will be shared with the Forth Islands Heritage Group, helping to build a clearer picture of grey seal numbers in the Firth of Forth🌊

After being welcome by some peregrine falcons(!) we began the survey and were delighted to see 19 fluffy pups so far! This is still quite early in the season and we expect many more to be born over the coming weeks🤞
