Great to see so many members at our annual congress yesterday! Our theme was ‘standing up for nature – how to win for the planet in an era of turmoil’, and topics ranged from restoring faith in the future to keeping the environment on the agenda in the 2026 Holyrood election. Hugely inspiring!

I really enjoyed speaking at @scotlink.bsky.social Congress today on behalf of @uofglasgow.bsky.social & Ipsos on issues ranging from political accountability to keeping environment on the agenda in May's elections - not an easy ask. The environmental agenda looks in good hands in Scotland.

Heading home after an interesting day at the Scottish Environment LINK annual congress. Always a good discussion - but so many (familiar) barriers to progress & delivery on nature & climate issues.

Great to catch up with ‘old’ colleagues, and thanks to staff!

Berwick Bank could kill more birds than any other windfarm on Earth, devastating colonies of Gannets, Puffins and Kittiwakes off Scotland’s coast. 🚨

We support renewables, but not at catastrophic cost to seabirds already in crisis.
