Scotland's swifts are in freefall. They need action now.

Yesterday, @scotgov said Swift Bricks don't belong in the Natural Environment Bill. We disagree.

There's still time to back Swift Bricks - email your MSPs now: action.rspb.org.uk/page/181323/...

Sadly, we have seen a big increase in avian flu cases in the UK - particularly in waterfowl

Whilst the risk to the public remains assessed as very low, Government advice is not to touch any visibly sick or dead birds, and to keep pets away

Help nature now! 🌱🐝🐦

Tomorrow is the first debate looking at potential changes to the Natural Environment Bill.

Tell your MSPs you want it to include strong targets, Swift bricks and no powers to weaken wildlife protections. It only take a minute 👉 action.rspb.org.uk/page/181323/...

We’ve announced a landmark partnership to restore 1,000 hectares of peatland on The Oa! 🥃

Suntory Global Spirits, Diageo & Glenmorangie are contributing £1.6m to protect wildlife, store carbon and build resilience against floods and wildfires. 🌍

A win for nature and whisky. 🤝

The Natural Environment Bill could restore nature across Scotland. 🐦🌱🐝

But there's a problem.

Part of the Bill introduces powers that threaten our most important wildlife protections.

A nature Bill shouldn't do that! Join us in calling for this to be fixed 👉

There’s still time to #SaveCoulLinks.

A year ago, we gave evidence about the irreparable damage a golf course would do to this incredible place.

Its fate is in the hands of Scottish Ministers. Nearly 18,000 of you have asked them to stand up for nature.

Aye, the nights are fair drawin’ in…

Shorter days bring with them some of Scotland’s most stunning natural spectacles.

You may need an extra layer or two but it’s well worth wrapping up warm to get outside and enjoy nature.

Me, now that mince pies are on the supermarket shelves.

This rather plump looking wader is a Knot.

Knots migrate to Scotland for the winter from as far away as the Canadian Arctic and are known to lose up to 80% of their body weight during long flights across land and sea.

Is Scotland's Natural Environment Bill a trick or a treat for nature?

Yesterday MSPs backed legal targets to restore wildlife, and many called for Part 2 to be fixed.

This is a once-in-a-generation chance to turn things around for nature - we must get it right.

Berwick Bank could kill more birds than any other windfarm on Earth, devastating colonies of Gannets, Puffins and Kittiwakes off Scotland’s coast. 🚨

We support renewables, but not at catastrophic cost to seabirds already in crisis.

Yesterday the Scottish Government announced a further delay to the implementation of muirburn licencing.

That very same day, a muirburn in Aberdeenshire got out of control and started a wildfire.

We can’t afford any more delay. 👇
