The UK's new Local Power Plan will bring "unparalleled social and economic benefits", according to SCCS member Community Energy Scotland.
Community ownership of energy schemes can lower power bills, create jobs and generate much-needed funding for local neighbourhoods.
We welcome the Local Power Plan as a public pledge by the UK Government and Great British Energy to support and invest in community owned energy, recognising the unparalleled social and economic benefits that it brings.
