Today I saw a high level of anger at the massive number of cops that are protecting a Tesla dealership in Chicago. Lots of chants demanding to know why they are protecting Nazis. No one is letting CPD off the hook. This is what cops do - enable and participate in fascism. #Teslatakedown.

My favorite Superbowl, we'd just moved to Seattle and were looking for somewhere to watch the game. I found something on Reddit (it was 2012, I don't know if regional subreddits are as good now) but I either misread or it was bad info, the place was closed. So we wandered down the street to a bar.

My social media detox is going pretty well. I ditched Twitter ages ago, I took all Meta apps off my phone last week, and I'm not redownloading Tiktok. I'll miss lives with my faves, but I've been listening to podcasts and watching longform videos instead. I'm also not putting Bluesky on my phone.

Met a dog today who looked a lot like my heart dog who passed a couple years ago. Just eighty pounds of beautiful doof with the silkiest fur, and they had the same semi-flopped GSD/lab ears, same doofy facial expression. <3
