At my (comparatively non-crazy) urban Dallas evangelical church, we were taught that we were constantly engaged in "spiritual warfare" and that the sinful conduct against which were were fighting constituted literal manifestations of Satan.

Some of those people still voted for Obama.

If Mamdani wins I will leave New York. I will go live in one of the other 5 houses I have, perhaps the one in South Florida, or the one in Paris, or Napa, or Cabo, but I will definitely leave New York. I will keep my apartment, though, because it's awesome and New York is great. But I will leave.

I'm usually all-for breaking law enforcement unions, but my guess here is that Trump is planning to incarcerate a massive amount of people (probably migrants) in federal prisons and doesn't want institutional push back.
