This fandom has a reputation for being "suspiciously wealthy" but the truth is most furries just love and value art and people so much that they want to use their money for art and supporting artists so they can make a living doing what they love. It's a cycle of genuine passion I think.

Most of what we as furries do is so objectively bizarre that I can't imagine doing any of it unless (1) you love it with all your heart and/or (2) it's absolutely core to who you are and how you need to express that.
If you're here as a participant (cf. professional) and you aren't doing things because you love them, it will show. Suit because you love it, draw because you love it, take photos because you love it, stream, sing, make TikToks, whatever. People see that authenticity and gravitate toward it.

Okay, so I learned today that New Jersey folk are very passionate about their state. I somehow got into multiple chats with people about the history of the area, its rivers, and why its overlooked in history. For my first time really exploring NJ, I have to say what a great state 😊
