This is the Tufts PhD student who seized by masked agents on the street and jailed for two months because she wrote an op-ed calling for the school to divest from Israel.
BREAKING: A federal judge ordered the government to restore Rümeysa Öztürk's SEVIS student record after it was wrongfully terminated in retaliation for exercising her freedom of speech.

This allows her to fully engage with the opportunities of her PhD program.

we all got cowed into avoiding "virtue signaling" as if the public affirmation of socially agreed upon ethical principles was somehow cringey instead of a significant part of what a "society" even is. now all there's left is vice signaling, and it's reshaping society.

I’ll attempt to live-skeet the Trump v. Slaughter oral arguments at 10 am.
I might be considered biased b/c I filed amicus briefs in Slaughter & Cook, with particular historical interpretations.
Or I might be considered well-informed.

You can judge for yourself.
See the summary below & a thread…

You can, and should, follow the historic lead of Sen. Mike Gravel, who in 1971 read the Pentagon Papers into the Congressional Record.

Kayleigh McEnany asked Jonathan Turley about a ruling that involved the due process rights of undocumented immigrants. He basically answers that it would slow ICE down if ICE applied a probable cause standard for each person. He does NOT give a legal justification.

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

Even the legal justification for drone strikes on senior members of al Qaeda and associated forces (ostensibly covered under the 2001 AUMF) states that strikes are justified only “when capture is infeasible”
This is contemptible. Not only do we now have confirmation Hegseth has been lying from the jump, but it seems neither he nor his team understand that killing everyone on a target list *becomes* an illegal No Quarter Order if targets try to surrender or are neutralized. Their semantic games are vile.
