This is happening all over.
My daughter's school in Richfield, MN (adjacent to Minneapolis) is closing tomorrow due of out-of-control federal agents. Fourth graders spent the week building walls of snow at recess to protect their classmates from ICE. This isn't about immigration enforcement, it's about terror.

🎉 HUGE WIN: the Government has dropped plans for mandatory digital ID.

We've maintained from the start that any digital ID system should be voluntary and focus on helping people access vital services, rather than digitally excluding them.

In fact we have records of at least 65,000 immigrants in the late MEDIEVAL period. This means real numbers were significantly higher. In England more than 1% of the population was foreign born (never mind 2nd gen) with numbers as high as 1 in 10 in cities. There’s a database!

Not content.
No other word has done more damage to the craft of writing in recent years than “content”. Even if you’re using the word “content” ironically, or as a cute little joke, don’t. When someone calls writing “content” they’re pissing on someone’s hard work & passion. “Content” is Technosatan’s henchword.

I was also one of the legal experts but have ended up on the sub editor’s floor.I’d suggest three cumulative reasons…

1. If Parliament had meant that in 1986, it had ample opportunity to make it clear

2. The introduction of ‘clarifying’ Regs suggests they did not then, that power was never there

White House has filed its War Powers report for the attack on Venezuela.

I used to help draft these reports and this is an unusual specimen.

It promotes a number of political narratives, including about the attack being a "law enforcement operation" and framing Maduro as a "narco-terrorist." 1/n
