The craziest thing happened! Ye just released a new album and took the cover art from a piece me and my friend Peter van Agtmael did for a Norwegian magazine back in 2015. Nope, he didn't ask first.

Maybe the state of protest isn't as bleak as I thought, but it's clear that the nature of protest has to change as Trump ignores First Amendment rights.
Resistance is alive and well in the United States
Protests of Trump may not look like the mass marches in 2017, but they're far more numerous and frequent — and also becoming more strategic.

“So, let’s get this party started, Terrorbros.”
Telegram’s largely hands-off approach to moderation allowed Terrorgram Collective leaders to reach an international audience of disaffected young people and then encourage them to turn their violent thoughts into action.

Some of them did.

the funniest thing about JFK assassination theories is that conspiracists accidentally discovered a seedy nexus of intelligence agencies, organized crime, and political extremists and then judged it irrelevant because it didn't provide proof of what they were originally looking for

This is so so wild.

Mercola is the OG of online health misinfo sitting on a $300 mil enterprise. And these tapes where he confers with an alien spirit on every decision from what gasses he inserts into his bum, to firing executives, to feeding his dog his own blood—shows he’s a true believer.
1. EXCLUSIVE: Major anti-vaccine and alternative health influencer Dr. Joe Mercola says he wants people to march with weapons on veterinarians, and this is just the tip of the iceberg of what I discovered.

I got to be there when the Posting Through It podcast hit double digits! Shame the topic is such a bummer, but a spoonful of @michaelehayden.bsky.social and @jaredlholt.bsky.social makes the medicine go down a treat!
Next episode of the podcast is not a fun, but needed: a closer look at ADL leaders' coziness with the Trump administration. In what world does it make sense for the "leading anti-hate organization in the world" to shack up with MAGA?

The ADL threw its support behind Trump's arrest of Mahmoud Khalil. I know a little bit about the ADL because I used to work there, so I wrote about the civil rights org that doesn't care about civil rights.
