It’s beyond disturbing.
And it’s depressing to know that the powers that be are not walking the talk.
Of course, there are many Bluesky ‘progressives’ who still use the X site but are not ‘monitoring’.
A single focus demonstration urging folk to exit X & a SM campaign are needed, urgently.

The UK govt want to make the country so unattractive to refugees that they don’t want to come here anymore. Refugees whose own country is so dire that they are prepared to risk their lives getting here. If they find the country that bad, imagine what it will be like for us.

The biggest failing of this government is that they don’t set the agenda for this country’s politics and as they are not in control of the narrative they follow the (mostly right wing) press and social media blindly and come to the conclusion that “illegal immigration is tearing this country apart”
