My daughter lives in Copenhagen. The have a very efficient and comprehensive digital ID system that seems to work very well. The issue in the UK is a lack of trust. We don’t really choose the government because our electoral system is so unrepresentative. PR has to be a priority to build trust.

I wish getting access to gender affirming care had been as easy as this asshole and other conservatives make it out to be. The amount of insurance and medical bullshit I’ve had to deal with just to see a fucking doctor who doesn’t believe me anyways but takes my $0 copay is disgusting.
Trump: "Transgender for everyone! Bring your kids in, we're gonna change the sex of your child. Just send them our way. In some cases, like in Minnesota, they don't even tell the parents. Nobody believes it when I say it. They operate on the kid, they don't tell the parents. It's not believable."
