Forget diminished returns on photorealistic graphics in this day and age, give me more of this please! Beautiful
Hey Bluesky! I figured it would be a good time to show off the game I've been working on for a little while.

Introducing TaleKeep, a peasant-hopping castle simulation RPG set in a storybook medieval world.

There is, as of right now, no coverage of this protest on the WaPo website or in their @washingtonpost.com feed.

So, if you (you reading this) want people to SEE this protest, you must share it.
People from all over are showing up for DC. This is not a moment. It’s a movement. We are united in our demands. We are all DC! #FreeDC

Weirdly, this is the version I first discovered as a kid. I enjoyed it having no idea what I was missing and so I'll still have a soft spot for it even though I'll probably always stick with the actual original now.

This reminds of the heartbreaking thing told to me by my half Filipina Japanese elementary student in my teaching days when I first arrived - she was glad I was there because now there was someone just like her. I'm a white American. Oof. She was so sweet and my heart hurt.
"Casual racism" is painfully accurate. The number of average Japanese people, often students, I heard talking about "Chinese people buying too much land" and a "Kurdish problem" is what shocks me most.
The casual racism of Japan’s popular #Sanseito party isn’t heart-warming—
but their push to revive horrific 1925 “Peace Preservation Laws” is downright bone-chilling.

If you think it's just about good-old fashioned nationalism, you're not paying attention.

Having played a lot of Dragon Quest at this point, I have come to the conclusion that the music is one of the weakest points. Sugiyama has a few good tunes but clearly started phoning it in as fast and early as possible. Oof.

I've finally broken through into a proper playthrough of Dragon Quest VII. Wonder if I'll make it all the way through. The changes made for the 3DS version do seem to help but who knows

Seeing this just reminded me of how I encountered a weird bug where certain graphics would display upsidedown on Win XP and above whenever I would revisit the game.

I still think about how @swery65.bsky.social and his team accurately presented the wide spaces of an American rural town in a video game with Deadly Premonition. Absolutely amazing to behold

I was absolutely unprepared for this. Absolutely amazing
Make sure your RPG battle transitions, scene composition, and attack animations are at least as cool as this Taiwanese DOS RPG from 1995

Trump has no idea who she is, what she does, what her experience is, what her qualifications are, how well she's been doing, how well she's respected, how much she can improve the system. But he knows she's Black. And that's enough to fire her. What a gross culture.

I'm still saddened by the loss of 1up.com and USGamer and now this... I really miss website Internet and a lack of every business being run by vampires stripping everything for all its worth before moving on to the next victim...

Finally found a way to watch the 95 Doctor Who TV movie and it was... Just ok. Not as bad as said, but definitely rough around the edges. McGann was the best part about it. Had potential but I can see why it failed. Felt McCoy was kinda done dirty for his death but is what it is.

This is so heartbreaking and makes nothing better and no one safer. It is the punitive act of an administration that values fealty over human health.
A top scientist at Harvard who has spent years unraveling the mysteries of tuberculosis woke up Tuesday morning and discovered an order from the federal government telling her to halt her research.

I'm so mad at AI. I hate how it's being shoved into everything in my life without my consent. Pop onto email, it's all AI-crusted. Try searching, AI-crusted results. It's just fucking everywhere, it never works, and no one asked for it.
