I get that it's very challenging for people to wrap their brains around this, but it's worth re-iterating: Musk and Trump decided a few months ago to kill millions globally by destroying USAID in a fit of pique, which has almost destroyed the global aid sector, and nothing is replacing that money.

Here's something I always forget that most people don't know: finding & paying for your own attorney is the only realistic option for someone detained by ICE. There's no appointed counsel system, & limited non-profits who can only take a few at a time (if at all).

Yesterday, in LA, pre-dawn, a bunch of ICE agents were assembling in the gated parking lot of a federal building, preparing to go out and do their kidnappings, when a protester rolled the gate to the parking lot closed and locked it with a bike lock, locking dozens of agents in.

i think it is hard for some people to really their heads around the reality that kennedy is staunchly anti-vaccine and thinks that people should suffer through disease and that those who die deserved it and that those who survive are a better order of human being

one of the worst things about ADHD is how i always put off the worst and most physical tasks until the day before my 36 hour work weekend. can’t wait to hobble around for the next 3 days because i needed to clean my oven so it wouldn’t catch fire anymore and i’m sick of cooking in the toaster oven
