Rachel Johnson defending her brother on @lbc.co.uk currently just blamed the "statest establishment" for the failures.

"He's getting all the blame and none of the credit" and "he did his best."

Really Rachel? Well his best was appalling. This wasn't a gold club tombola. It was a pandemic.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said Trump is siding with Putin again, warning that pressuring Ukraine into a bad deal hurts U.S. interests and makes America look weak and unable to tell the aggressor from the victim.

Reform’s previous leader in Wales had been handed a 10 year prison sentence for being a Russian asset.

Other prominent politicians happened to be making Kremlin adjacent statements at the same time, the question “why” should follow them around relentlessly.

Why are you pushing something that is catergorically not true. Thanks for contributing to the disinformation epidemic
Ian Dunt on his Substack is repeating the lie that Starmer plans to strip asylum seekers of their jewellery and property on the beach.

He used to be a reasonable commentator but has now become so virulently anti Starmer that he cannot longer distinguish between reality and Daily Mail lies.

In a Daily Mail world of lies, this has to be the most egregious. I visit often, staying in Tower Hamlets. I have NEVER seen any of this, always ride the tube and walk around anywhere at night and I’m a 65 year old woman!
Returning to London, signs of collapse are everywhere - even at 7am
At first glance, it looked like a domestic argument at a bus stop. But as I drew closer, I realised this was no ordinary couple - and they weren't quarrelling about the dishwasher.

The Covid enquiry has concluded that the reality we all witnessed *was* the actual reality, and the version which Johnson, Cummings et al insisted was happening was a total fabrication.

It’s incredible that we have to have lengthy enquiries after the event to establish consensus reality now.

The extreme and psychotic overreaction by Trump and Stephen Miller to Democratic military vets in the Senate and House urging service members to remember that their oath is to the Constitution and not a man tells us a lot about the Trump admin’s plans for the military.

The President of the United States just called for Democratic members of Congress to be executed. "HANG THEM", he posted.

If you're a person of influence in this country and you haven't picked a side, maybe now would be the time to pick a fucking side.

So sad that the BBC has learned nothing from our carnage here in the US. Platforming extremists from left and right, particularly Fromage and Deform UK, can only lead to the same kind of madness occurring on the other side of the pond. Please stop treating them as serious and concentrate on adults.

The President of the United States is publicly calling for the political prosecution of his political opponents, urging the death penalty because they urged soldiers to uphold the rule of law.

This should be front page news everywhere. It is not, which tells much about how we got to this point.

Having Johnson & Cummings in Downing Street when Covid struck was, just like Brexit, an entirely avoidable disaster caused largely by utterly appalling journalism. And now exactly the same clowns, arses & bigots with bylines are rolling out the red carpet for Farage.

I remember staying up to midnight in January 2020 to hear the latest death toll from China. Doctors were dying in droves - doctors, who know how to avoid being infected. Then the Italian doctors began screaming at us to lock down. I was buying PPE by January. The UK government wasn't. Unforgivable.
Anyone watching the news could see what was happening in China & then Italy - we had the luxury of a few weeks notice to save thousands of lives but Johnson was sorting out his divorce & missing fucking Cobra meetings.

So people put their trust in Johnson because he was funny and had charisma.

20,000 people aren’t laughing now though.

Prime Ministers need to be capable, diligent and intelligent.

Racism and charisma and stupid ideas like Brexit simply don’t cut it to make a PM.
