i honestly think that a lot of soulsgames (ds3 and elden ring included) are leaving sauce on the table by making basically every boss room a variably sized big circle with no obstacles
just look at ds1 and how totally unique the boss rooms tend to be, the room is practically a boss itself

So there is a page in berserk where guts does the Legolas move of sliding down an elephant trunk, and I looked it up and this chapter came out two years after return of the king, so Miura was like 100% referencing that
