I just went outside to put some stuff in the wheelie bin. When I tried to close the door to the house there was some resistance. When I looked, it was the sweetest little diamond python, who's now hiding under the bin waiting for me to go away.

Had our excavator serviced this morning. On its way to do some digging this afternoon, it made horrible grinding noises, spewed out hydraulic fluid, and stopped. It's now lifeless in the driveway and we've unable to get a car past it.
