"In 2025, 40% of women aged 15 to 44 say they would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity. The current figure is four times higher than the 10% who shared this desire in 2014, when it was generally in line with other age and gender groups."
Record Numbers of Younger Women Want to Leave the U.S.
The percentage of younger women in the U.S. who express a desire to migrate permanently has surged in the past decade.

I wonder how many billions of dollars a year is wasted in the US just fighting with health insurance deductible/copay/approval/coverage lies.

Like, there's a whole apparatus at every level employing probably tens of thousands of people just to fight on either side of that scam

I am filled with viceral rage at the fact that if you're a rich & powerful white guy, an abundance of email evidence that you're an actual pedophile won't cost you a damn thing. But if you're anyone else, sharing a damn risotto recipe without two factor authentication will ruin your career.
Meanwhile, here's an example of the horrendous things found in Hillary Clinton's emails—the only story worth covering for any serious news outlet in 2016, apparently.

This email is also regarding a child who suffered abuse from a grown man.

I’ve got very bad news for the racists about who cows love most in the world. (Hint: it’s the folks who never kill them, and who let cows roam literally anywhere in the streets, even in the middle of the biggest cities.)
Did not really expect to wake up to “cows are racist” or “cows know what’s up immigration-wise” on the old timeline, let alone “cows are right to be xenophobic,” let alone “cows are right to be xenophobic because they so treasure their current cushy lifestyles.”

The value of reading history is you know that in 1860 there were abolitionists who were so demoralized that they thought chattel slavery would be permanent. 5 years later those still alive had lived to see its end.

The Republican president is a pedophile who has doubled my healthcare costs and let scores of violent criminals out of jail. But a Democratic mayor-elect wants to make busses free in a city I don't live in. I have never felt more politically homeless.

It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.

Here’s the thing about healthcare premiums about to skyrocket: they will never come back down, short of a complete overhaul of our system for universal healthcare. Which clearly won’t happen bc of all the money tied up between health and politics.

I was in medical school then, having already earned a 3.97 GPA in biomedical engineering. And the president of freaking Harvard said people like me were not suited for science. He still had a high-powered, prestigious career after that but tell me again about how cancel culture ruins men’s lives.
One of my earliest moments of radicalization was in 2005 when Larry Summers said that women biologically have less aptitude for science than men. Following that, scores of equally unimpressive people wrote pieces trying to explain or justify his remarks, when they should have called for his removal.

Seeing a few comments about “dead rapists bringing down living rapists”.

Let’s be clear.

It’s not Epstein that has Trump and MAGA on the defensive. It’s not Epstein that had a former Prince stripped of his title.

It’s the survivors of Epstein’s abuse. It’s the women who refused to be silent.

The elite world Epstein traveled in is VERY small: Yale Law prof Jed Rubenfeld's wife Amy Chua, also a Yale Law prof, was the mentor of Yale Law student JD Vance. Ken Starr was the mentor of Yale Law grad Brett Kavanaugh, also accused of sexual assault but now seated on the Supreme Court. 2/

Thomas Massie to CNN on the Epstein files: "This vote is gonna be on your record for longer than Trump is gonna be president. And what are you gonna do in 2028 and 2030 when you're in a debate … and they say, 'How can we trust you? You covered up for a pedophile back in 2025.'"
