They don't want trained. They want inexperienced and violent. Look at his whole "cabinet". These people aren't supposed to know what they're doing. Being good at your job is too woke. They want destruction.
I guarantee you that these 700 Marines being deployed have very little training or experience in "crowd control" or whatever your preferred term for it. Maybe they'll be used specifically for road checkpoints. Maybe not. Regardless, they're not trained for engaging with massive civilian crowds.
