The back reads "The first day of college is a big step. Don't let the past trip you up! But when a room assignment mix-up throws their plans into disarray, they're forced to reexamine their relationships, confront their pasts, and dig more deeply into who they want to be for the next stage of their lives. Included in Book One: Chapter 1, Interlude Iro, Chapter 2, Interlude Kit, Bonus Story (FreshFiction)" A sample of my illustration work. A horned silver dragonborn druid named Caelux examines a strange stone in a wintry tundra. Above him his draconic starry form looms, its outlines glowing and peppered with constellations. "Content" is a blatantly misleading term to use for fanworks. Fanworks are the antithesis of content; content is produced for individual gain and consuming, whereas fanworks are created out of inspiration and the communal experience.

This year #SpiderForest did a group event where we all made tarot cards of our webcomics! I picked Wheel of Fortune because it's all about change, cycles, fate, and decisive moments in life. It's also full of symbolism and so is True Colors!

I think… I wanna Kickstart the CorpSet graphic novel next year 🧐

I have a whole completed comic just sitting there! Granted, it’s a multimedia one that I’d have to do some not-insignificant conversions to translate to print. But getting to share it with new audiences makes that even more exciting!

The dream would be to be able to live off of my original projects. I honestly don’t care if I ever become well-known, I just wanna spend my life making cool shit!

That said, running a successful Kickstarter last year to print my first graphic novel & get it in stores was a pretty major milestone :)

Comic creators, what is success for you?

For me, it's having built an audience that empowers me to tell a long-form story. By January we'll have completed the equivalent of 35 DM issues of the White Ash Saga. Not many indie series reach those #'s. And we're just getting started.
