1930s Germany did have the inspiration and guidance of U.S. - Jim Crow segregation, anti‑miscegenation statutes (for example, Virginia’s Racial Integrity Act), and state-by-state “one‑drop” rules were used in drafting the laws that stripped Jews of rights and banned “mixed” marriages

The Press Secretary confirms: Donald Trump posted the racist video of the Obamas.
Q: The president just said on Truth Social it would be a 'big mistake' for UK to hold over control of Diego Garcia, but the State Dept said the US supports that handover

LEAVITT: The post should be taken as administration policy. When you see it on TS, you know it's directly from President Trump.

I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.

And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.
I’m constantly astounded at the sheer level of artistic production coming out of Iceland. Novels, movies, music. Amazing.

#AusPol is well established as "our" hashtag for political/social-justice posts
it would thus seem logical that we use #AusSky, not #OzSky, for our more general social posts?

The latest rabid, rancid, racist denunciations of Muslim Australians by Pauline Hanson are unambiguously #hatespeech. As so many decry “anti semitism” actual or perceived, how is Hanson not buried in opprobrium? She practises the most cynical of opportunistic politics. Will #AngusTaylor condemn her?
