I can’t even get past the dipstick’s plural noun grammar error with “prices is.“ GTFOH.
Trump’s solution to the affordability crisis is to just tell us that things are affordable

Enough. We HAVE TO HAVE UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE. This is madness.
Retired couple (teacher & union carpenter) on ACA premiums skyrocketing — from $443/month to $2,224/month: “It's like buying another house and trying to pay for two houses at the same time… without the subsidy we honestly don’t know what we’re gonna do.” #TrumpShutdown

I grew up in Tulsa and never learned about the 1921 Race Massacre until I became a fan of the GAP Band in college, and out of simple curiosity, looked up the origin of their name (Greenwood, Archer, and Pine Streets— the epicenter of destruction). That horrifying history must not be silenced again.

"Yummy yummy in my tummy, that’s Beef-a-Roni…
Beef-a-Roni, Beef-o-Getti, Beef-a-Roni, Beef-o-Getti…
They’re both so goooood!"

I was watching FAMILY MATTERS *before* Urkel was added.
Age verification? I put Knight Rider stickers all over my Fisher Price Parking Garage playset.

Man, those were some epic quests, though.
I need you to understand that if you heard a song you liked in the 80s, you couldn’t Shazam it. You couldn’t Google the lyrics. You had to sing it to the guy at Tower Records.

I know this is an old complaint. But I still wish targeted advertising would fuck all the way off.

I once had the privilege of sitting beside Mr. Wilder at a dinner party, and thanked him for “Double Indemnity,” “The Apartment,” and his whole body of work. “Ohh, dat’s sweet,” said the Master. “And what do you do?” “I’m a TV writer,” I humbly replied. “Ecch,” he said with a frown. “TV is shit.” 🤣👏
Happy Billy Wilder's birthday!

CRYSTAL’S PIZZA in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The first neon sign I ever fell in love with – sparkling across the restaurant’s façade. And inside— tasty thin crust pies with bottomless pitchers of strawberry soda, while you watched Laurel & Hardy comedies on a big screen until your face hurt from laughing.

I was in college before I realized those “Five Civilized Tribes” I learned about in my middle school Oklahoma History class was really just a whitewashed way for racists to feign respect for Native Americans. My humble apologies to the Cherokee, Choctaw, Creek, Chickashaw, and Seminole nations.
Folks, get in here. We’re admitting all the dumb wrong shit we believed until we were way too old.
Fun fact: until I was appreciably into my 20s, I thought they were called oncologists because they were always “on call.”

My guess is, most of the 65% who quit— only did so because their insurance wouldn’t cover it anymore (even with a doctor’s prescription) and it’s just too damned expensive to pay for out of pocket. God, I hate American healthcare.

Taking the drug made one writer feel so sick she quit and focused on healthy habits instead of her body size. Turns out, 65% of people using GLP-1 drugs for weight loss quit within a year.

In 1928, founder Charles Walgreen Sr. demanded that Black and white pharmacists be paid an equal wage-- decades ahead of the industry norm.

Anyway, so much for Walgreens.
