abolish ice is just not a radical idea at this stage. it has majority approval in polls; it is the position of very much not radicals like Bill Kristol and Seth Moulton.
Also, may I say that I don’t agree with people saying ICE and CBP need “more training.” They’re doing exactly what this administration has trained them to—impose a reign of fear in blue cities. They don’t need more training. They need to be ripped up root and branch.

China had a total solar/wind capacity of 1,400 GW at end 2024, according to Ember; China's NEA suggested wind amounted to 521 GW of that.

The US EIA suggested they had 150 GW of wind as at 2024, for comparison.

Minneapolis schools are closing because non-white families can't go outside and Senate Dems are like "ok but you gotta buy some body cameras for ICE"
Minibus is out. Democrats were able to include some guardrails in about ICE:
-restricts ICE to spending $3.8 billion of its annual budget
on detention as opposed to being able to spend $10 billion
-$20 million that must be used for body cameras 1/
