TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

engaging with your interests & your lifes experiences with active curiosity will accumulate an internal database that you can alchemise creative things from, though the process is nonlinear and like 80% unexpected imo. as for how to make comics, well, the short answer is to just start the first page
Been asking other comics artists I admire rhis but how do you come up with such great original stories and start … making original comics! I haven’t made the jump yet but can’t put my finger on what’s holding me up

So I’ve got some vague ideas about trying my hand at some Daedric calligraphy, just to kinda represent what I imagine Morrowind Dunmer would write like and use for their texts etc. Do we know how they read their writing (horizontal, vertical, left to right, etc)?
