Trump’s move to open 13 million acres of Alaska’s protected Arctic reserve to oil drilling puts caribou, migratory birds and fragile tundra at risk.

Plus – it could unleash even more climate-warming carbon from thawing permafrost.

What’s at risk for Arctic wildlife as Trump expands oil drilling access in the fragile National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska
Caribou, migrating birds and many other types of wildlife rely on this expanse of wetlands and tundra. Humanity and the climate depend on a healthy Arctic, too.

President Trump wants to expand offshore oil and gas drilling across more than 1.2 billion acres of U.S. waters. Opening up California, the Gulf of Mexico, parts of Florida, and large areas of Alaska to drilling puts coastal economies, communities, and wildlife at risk.

The Regime continues its attacks on public health.

The Department of Education has preliminarily concluded that public health degrees—MPH and DrPH—should not be considered professional degrees.

If it stands, it will result in significantly fewer funding opportunities for public health students.

I'm leading a coalition to fight back against the EPA's illegal attempts to deny climate change.

Climate change will continue to bring more flesh-eating bacteria. One way to address this would be to improve infrastructure to reduce flooding from rain/storms. Ron DeSantis has rejected over $11B in federal funds designated for such projects in Florida because he doesn’t believe in climate change.

I'm old enough to remember when the narrative was that the US was solving the climate crisis and China is the problem because it uses coal.

Now the narrative is that China is solving the climate crisis, but this is bad, while the US is currently denying that climate change is even a thing.
We are going to avoid worst case climate projections because of them…but at what cost?

Does Florida’s Everglades National Park represent a slight to development in America? Does mentioning missionaries, who sought to destroy the language and culture of Alaska Natives, cast American history in a negative light?
