Today is release day for To Risk Your Heart by my band High Wire Act.

It's 9 songs about feelings and loud guitars, and possibly a secret alien but that might be a metaphor.

Please have a listen over on bandcamp (or wherever you like to stream music)

Haven't read the article, but I assume he is talking about the Romans, or possibly the Anglo Saxons. Or the beaker folk.

Either way, these days, get back in the sea you finned cunt etc etc.

Labour's problem isn't merely one of personnel. It's that the main factions of the party lack an analysis of capitalism, & therefore an awareness that boosting growth (the answer to many problems) requires a lot of work. Here's one I wrote 5 years (!) ago: chrisdillow.substack.com/p/starmer-an...
Starmer and the C-word
Starmer's Labour is incurious about the nature of capitalism.

With another Olympics happening, pointlessly filled with proper skilled sportspeople, I renew my call for a good Olympics with the athletes chosen at random.

It should be a lottery/jury service thing, followed by a medical check and 2 weeks training. No pros allowed.

Over the years, people have asked me why I am always saying that Slimer, from the Ghostbusters franchise, is a bisexual icon (I am always saying this). To me, the answer is so self-evident that I have never and will never explain.

96% of you are really weird.
'for an estimated 4% of people, this mental imagery is weak or absent. When researchers ask them to imagine something familiar, they might have a concept of what it is, and words and associations might come to mind, but they describe their mind’s eye as dark or even blank.'
Many people have no mental imagery. What’s going on in their brains?
