Bill voted to confirm RFK because he was afraid of being primaried by yahoos for going against Trump. So he fell in line. He is getting primaried by yahoos anyway. One of America's most hapless oafs.
TAPPER: You were the deciding vote that allowed RFK Jr to ascend to the role of Health Secretary. Did you give him too much credit?

CASSIDY: The fact is the scientific community agrees that vaccines are safe. That's all I can say.

If you read one thing today, make it my former colleague Krista Johnson’s essay on how poverty shaped her reporting.
What childhood poverty taught me about covering education
"The condition of poverty is rarely reflected in the reporting I see — or even the reporting I do," writes Louisville Courier Journal education reporter Krista Johnson.

Experienced this just now as we couldn’t find our health insurance card. “Oh! I’ll just log on to the online portal and download a the virtual card” I thought.

Except they recently changed the website, requiring a new registration, which needs… you guessed it, the information on the card!

If you live in a 100-year flood zone, here are the probabilities of experiencing a flood during the life of your hypothetical mortgage:

15 years: 14%
30 years: 26%
50 years: 40%

Plus, more years of mandated flood insurance premiums -- though you should buy it regardless of the lender requirement!
