New Orleans Sheriff Susan Hutson told the ethics board today that her PAC finance report was filed late because she didn't realize her attorney (Jimmy Burland) had been put in prison.

BTW, the name of her PAC is Orleans Jedi Guardians PAC.

STAR had to stop sending staff out to hospitals to support victims going through forensic medical exams (rape kits) this month.

I don't mean to imply that Trump won't eventually sign off on this, but it's odd that Gov. Jeff Landry, Speaker Mike Johnson and several other members of the congressional delegation were at the White House this week and there is still no news on this. #lalege
