I love this because the people who don’t really use computers are like “a magic spell to be a computer boy” and the people who use computers are like “a printer that actually fuckin works” and it’s been 40 years and that is still the dream

There's someone arguing with me on Tiktok about whether or not the Oz books were written for children. They think they weren't because "most children couldn't read or afford books in the 1900's" and I am now taking to the bottle. Because this is not a bot.

Issuing a very rare explanatory note here to say that, while I do consider this a fun and quite odd fact about Tom Stoppard, I also believe his script for Last Crusade is a genuine masterpiece. And I'm not just saying that because it might be my favourite film of all time. It's damn near perfect.
