So Trump excludes a Black governor and gay governor and the GOP wants us to act like it’s business as usual. This government is going after immigrants, Blacks and Latinos, LGBTQ folk. If you think you’re safe, you’re fooling yourself.

More than a half dozen Democrats said Donald Trump disinviting two of their colleagues is the latest example of administration's 'chaos and division.'

We are really not focused enough on how absolutely fricking crazy Trump sounds. Like, totally unhinged and out of touch with reality.
Trump, in the middle of his latest unhinged Truth Social screed, claims that if Canada makes a trade deal with China, "the first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup."

Seems like a great candidate to vote out of office from what has been a swing district.
(Though is it still after redistricting?)
Gonzales on Liam Ramos and his family: "They're not gonna qualify for asylum. So what do you do with all the people that go through the process and do not qualify for asylum? You deport them. I understand that 5-year-old and it breaks my heart. I also think, what about that 5-year-old US citizen?"

There have been protests at this facility every day for months. It’s right next to the biggest mall in the region. But for all that, I think very few people in the Boston area are aware of what is happening in our own backyard.

2026 sucks but at least Noah Kahan has a new album coming out. The first single makes me hopeful it will be as great as Stick Season. “The Great Divide” is a raw reflection on friendship and mental illness and misunderstandings. Really powerful.

Singer/songwriter Noah Kahan reckons with the cost of growing apart on “The Great Divide,” a fiery, feverish re-entry that unpacks the quiet fractures that form over time – between old friends, past s...

As we focus on fighting the spread of fascism in the US, it is important to remember that far-right populism is on the rise across the globe. In Lille, Belgium last night, far fight extremists broke windows and graffitied the LGBTQ center and other locations.

If Kenworthy's message is in fact peed into the snow, as has been reported, then I would like to compliment his penmanship. It is not easy to pee words that neatly.

It’s impressive how some Dems are working hard to carve out a place on the wrong side of history.
“I would rather you vote for what is morally correct,” Davidson said.

“Don’t talk to me about my own morality,” DeLauro shot back.

“Don’t tell your constituents what they can and can’t talk to you about,” replied Rev. Nathan Empsall. “What you are voting for is not moral.”

Eliminating ICE is the modern equivalent of opposing the Iraq War, and right now there are two types of Democrats: those who can see where the ball is moving and go to it, and those who will be swept away because they refused to do so.

On behalf of the majority of Americans, I would just like to say thank you to the Olympic audience.
(And also, why does JD Vance perpetually look like he’s constipated?)

White House Press Sec’y Karoline Leavitt insists there is no reason for the Obamas to take this personally, given that the posting is clearly intended to incite racial hatred against non-White people in general.
