I know that this is Too Much but I had to wind down from a very intense Age of Wonders 4 session and how else but doodling in the margins?

Reinstalled Caves of Qud. Picked a Star-Eyed Vesper. My pet(?)s(?) either/or quickly turned into a pool of sugary, molten wax that I could sell & sent a canvas folding chair running around town, then later infected the giant amoeba that I’d proselytised so it randomly teleports.

I had too many notes for games that I am playing on my desk, so a while ago I ordered this frog notebook. Now all of these notes go in the frog notebook.

Nekron the Risen was just being kinda cute today 🥰

All I’m gonna say is that if this big fella can have low morale then I don’t feel so bad about having a rough day now and then.

Happy that Dave likes my project but also it’s gotten even weirder in the past week, and I haven’t even put in the real weird stuff yet.
Been playing a build of the game @threeohfour.bsky.social is putting together.

He's only been in production for about 3 months and I'm already blown away.

This is shaping up to be one of the most delightfully weird games Wadjet Eye has ever made.

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

When I was small I did not daydream about jetpacks, flying cars or space travel. I daydreamed about crop circles, arcane alphabets, secret places, Gods hidden in nature. I think that's why I'm making an adventure game.

Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

Another perfect spring day! I ended up walking 35km this weekend. I have missed the sun, and I can feel myself recharged by it. Now I spring to life like a thorny weed in the garden - unexpected and strange, and full of vigour.

If today is the best day I get all to myself this spring, at least I know I did not squander it.

Also, friends, I think Red Mars might be the Moby-Dick of hard science fiction. I'm enjoying it so much.

Spring is coming, and every day I check on the budding leaves to see their progress. It's magical to watch how fast it happens, but also wonderful inspiration for the alien world I am drawing.

The visual design of the amphitheater was before we figured out how to (vaguely) show people in the city, but the scalloped tent is one of my favorite details across all the buildings.
AMBERSPIRE 🌇 The Amphitheater

After trekking across the stars, your city's residents deserve entertainment. The Amphitheater provides Music, Gathering & Starlight, and is quite the architectural endeavour to keep your cityscape interesting.
