Caves of Qud is not even that weird, really, but it’s also so weird.

It probably seems like a strange game to take notes for! But the levels are so big & detailed, and it usually takes me 4 sittings to finish one, and I forget everything. Hence, notes!

Everybody needs to stop advertising Europa Universalis V to me, please, the frog notebook does not have enough pages for that kind of nonsense.

It’s true!

It definitely depends on the game for me. Some I will play the whole game with very few notes. However if I play anything quite detail oriented then my brain fills up very quickly, and I will forget anything I don’t write down.

The level of a man who both likes having and using nice pens, and who forgets literally everything if he doesn’t write it down…

I always tell myself I can just do one turn of Age of Wonders 4 in my coffee break but imagine just playing one turn of Age of Wonders 4.

I find the same. The busier I am, the more helpful it is to have a game that I can get lost in just for a bit.

I love this duality.

(12 hours later and Dawnwatch still hasn’t burned, I may be the slowest Age of Wonders player ever, each turn takes me so long)
