If you’re looking for a cozy city-builder with a cyberpunk vibe, look no further, Dystopika from @voidswithin.com is the perfect game. Plus, it lets me bring to life the nightmarish skyline of Cylinder B and the infamous Megablock 42 home to the Bat42 gang.😁

Hello! My name is Matt Marshall. I'm a solo indie dev who made Dystopika, a dark cozy city toy, while nomading around Asia.

I'm a designer, developer, producer, and director, building up a small global indie studio with other talented folks.

Hey #PitchYaGame!
Enoch: Children of Fate is a sci-fi neo-noir #pointandclick.
In Cylinder B, the rain never stops, and neither does the violence.
A kid’s dead. Teens are vanishing.
Justice? That was before. Now it’s damage control.

On my non-gaming hustle, I'm freelancing. It's a bummer that being super efficient when billing hourly means you actually end up earning less, speed just doesn't pay off. 😂

Alright, you guessed it, it was just April Fools. If that were possible, it'd be awesome though.😄

And to be totaly honnest this one takes "fake cartridges" with usb key inside and a lot of roms on it.
But the gamepads ports works with real SNES pads
And I think I'll made a "true" hybrid some day :)

It's an Olivetti Super Famicom, a hybrid PC/SNES prototype to make something Like the Amstrad Mega PC... But it was never released to the public and ...

No I'm joking, it's a custom pc/SNES that I made because I was sad that I didn't had an Amstrad Mega PC when I was young. 😆

Sometimes you have to "kill your babies." I was mega-super-duper hyped to add dynamic lights & shadows, but ran into too many problems, bugs, & delays. So let's go for the classic transparent-blurred-black circle. It does the job for now. 😄

I could create my own game engine if I wanted to, I just don’t see the point, because it’s not my goal. But maybe it’s yours, and if it makes you happy, that’s awesome!

Me ? Personally, I lean very heavily toward Exitus Acta Probat. I struggled for years to feel valid about that, but now I don’t care and I fully embrace it.

Neither of these points is the absolute truth. Find the spot where you feel most comfortable. The majority of developers fall somewhere between these two extremes on the spectrum.
